• 65% of transgender population has attempted suicide
• 19% under the age of 18 have attempted suicide
• 70% of transgender have been sexually assaulted by police officers. Where 59% have been assaulted in Prison
• 65% of High School and 85% of College students have been sexually assaulted
• 50% of them will be raped in their lifetime
• 77% of them currently suffer from anxiety or depression
• 55% of transgender have lost their jobs
• 54% of them were forced to present in the wrong gender to keep their job
• 60% of them have been denied treatment from a Doctor or healthcare provider
• 57% of  their families reject them after they come out.

• 78% report having experienced verbal harassment
• 48% have even been the victim of assault (armed or sexual).
• 40% of patients followed in the gender identity clinic in Alberta between 1996 and 2008, have resorted to sex reassignment surgery.
• Overall, 10% of crimes against persons in Canada have motivations related to sexual orientation! This number reaches 17% in the United States!
• 8.3% (1/12) MTF people in the US have a chance of being killed while the normal rate is 0.005% (1/18000). It is 1500 times higher.
• 34% of trans people will get a higher school diploma in contrast to 27% in the general population.
• 70% have considered suicide and between 33% have already used it.
• The suicide rate is 20 times lower when trans people "treated" for their identity disorder than among "non-treaty"

• 61% of the population believe the country should establish a law for the protection of trans people against discrimination.

• Nearly 25% of trans people claim to have ever been hospitalized for mental health problems.
